As the steam settled after a hot shower this morning, I look up at my mirror and see words upon words on my bathroom mirror. Words and verses that had been written for over a year now and erased to make room for new. They came back to life and into plain view.
It reminded me of a Proverb that I love, reminding me that those words of prosperity and life will forever be known and understood. These words that were once read and settled into my heart are still there. Ever remaining and etched into my heart. They bear life and truth and promises.
Even when I can’t recite them word by word, my heart knows them truth by truth. What a sweet reminder on this rainy January morning
Walking into missions, He has been preparing us, for a long time coming, and will continue to prepare us. And we stand on the promises of His faithfulness. With moments like this, we see Him ever so clear.
“My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body.”
Proverbs 4:20-22
