It’s actually here! Dave prayed this morning as we were preparing to load the bus and head out for our mission trip. He quoted a verse that he said came to mind because of the speed bumps we have encountered while preparing for this trip. Isaiah 40:31 “but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not grow faint.” God is truly speaking because this bible verse has been shown to me so many times throughout this mission trip preparation. Speaking with all of the teenagers this morning, each one has mentioned that they cannot believe it’s actually here, and I can’t either! It has been a long road, but God has revealed himself in so many ways throughout the journey. This is only the beginning! None of us know our specific purpose for this week, but we know we have a purpose. I am anxiously waiting to see how the Lord is going to change lives this week, not only for the people who we are serving in Ecuador, but for the impact that they will have on each and every one of us as well. #Lordgiveusstrength #Godgoesbig #gowithallofyourheart
